Free Stock Screener

Filter thousands of US-listed stocks by valuation, performance, dividends and technical signals. Use the tabs above the table to switch between overview, performance, valuation and dividend columns.

Widget and data by TradingView. Prices may be delayed depending on the exchange; some index quotes are CFD-based feeds that can differ slightly from official index levels.

Ready-made screens to start from

Open the screen selector (it starts on Largest companies) to switch to presets such as top gainers, top losers, most active, high dividend, overbought or oversold. Then sort any column by clicking its header.

Common screening criteria

FilterWhat it measuresTypical use
Market capShare price × shares outstandingSeparate large caps (often defined as $10B+) from small caps
P/E ratioPrice divided by earnings per shareRough valuation check; compare within the same sector
Dividend yieldAnnual dividends ÷ share priceIncome screens; very high yields can signal a falling price or an unsustainable payout
Relative volumeToday's volume vs. its recent averageFind stocks with unusual activity or news
Performance %Price change over a periodMomentum or mean-reversion ideas
Technical ratingTradingView's summary of moving-average and oscillator signalsA quick trend snapshot, not a recommendation

Tips for a useful screen

  • Start broad and add one filter at a time so you can see which criterion removes most results.
  • Add a minimum market cap or volume to avoid illiquid stocks with wide bid-ask spreads.
  • Compare valuation ratios only between companies in similar industries.
  • A screen produces a list to research, not a list to buy. Check filings, news and the chart (try our live charts) before acting.
